Our College
River City Christian College is a school where every child matters, every family matters and we are here to help you succeed. We are a Christian college, endeavouring to imbed Christian faith and values in all that we are. We are committed to partnering with and supporting families as we share the responsibility of encouraging their children to be all that God created them to be.
Delivering the Victorian Curriculum from a Christian perspective, our faithful team of well qualified teachers and support staff seek to encourage each student in achieving their best academically, socially, physically, and in their own following of Christ. We have been blessed with a wonderfully equipped physical school site, which we continue to develop as we also seek to develop the positive atmosphere of welcome, care and respect that we experience in this place
River City Christian College is registered through the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority, we are a member of Christian Schools Australia and a member of Independent Schools Victoria.

College Expectations
Where every child matters and every day counts, we expect students to attend the college each day of scheduled activities and learning opportunities. We set reasonable and challenging expectations to allow each student to grow and develop the skills they will need when they graduate into the workforce, such as developing a culture of respect, valuing other opinions and learning how to engage in robust conversations that encourage broad thinking and seeking further learning.
We uphold a uniform policy to ensure students learn presentation skills and personal hygiene, further developing the skills they require once they leave schooling. Our career sessions for senior students are integrated throughout the year to ensure students receive multiple options for considering potential career paths and we work with students at all year levels to encourage strengthening the areas where they are excelling as well as areas they would benefit from further study and encouragement.
The positive and supportive learning culture provided by our college is expected to be received with appropriate levels of effort and attendance from each student to ensure they receive the best educational learning possible for each and every one.
Uniform
At our college, we expect students to attend school and excursions in full college uniform. This includes a winter and summer option, with a year-round sports uniform. We do request black leather shoes for safety in the kitchen and science rooms, and appropriate runners for sport days.
