OurFaith
OurFaith allows us to get together as a community of students, staff and sometimes special guests to discuss and explore how our faith looks to each of us, and how our values and beliefs shape the way we think, act and interpret the world and people around us.
As a Christian college, we like to allow free exploration of faith and how to connect deeply with God and each other. Through various methods of learning and experiences, students are able to develop strategies for developing their own faith and learning how their faith and understanding of God may help guide them through a fulfilled life.
Hands on Learning
Students at River City Christian College have opportunity to join in the fantastic Hands-on-Learning program which runs each Thursday.
Hands-on-Learning is a program that helps students achieve by allowing them to flourish in areas they may have more interest and skill.
This is accomplished by completing meaningful, practical and service-oriented projects, supporting the various learning modalities.

MyChoice
MyChoice (Students have the option of choosing between: Automotive Technology; Outdoor Education, Digital Photography, 3D Printing, Extension PE and Food Service to name a few). MyChoice selections may change across semesters.
My Design
Students learn about elements of design in a large variety of applications. This subject allows free thinking with a strong focus on teamwork and analytical thinking to improve elements of design for specific outcomes.
Using real world applications and examples, students learn the "how to's" of working with others, thinking through problem solving systematically and approaching new ideas with an eager and thoughtful process.
Fun is paramount to this subject and the key components of learning! One of the popular additions to our college, this subject incorporates STEM and collaborative approaches to working the others.

Our Time
OurTime is often where we employ the buddy program for peer reading opportunities. Children, particularly of a younger age, enjoy observing and learning from their older role models and peers.
Our peer reading has been very successful and continues to bring further opportunities for senior students to positively engage with and assist younger students with their learning.
OurTime is also a time together as a whole college and celebrate the achievements of our student body, continue to learn about God's message and lessons we can find useful in today's world, and allows for assemblies and special events to occur as a collective group.
