Our Community
Fellowship is important at our college and we offer a variety of evening and special events to continue to foster the community and support that flows through the staff and parents. In 2022 we held a family and fathers evening, a mum’s fellowship evening, a number of breakfast gatherings, our Hands-on-Learning milo mornings and a number of other whole school gatherings where we shared food and fun activities.
Our college and extended community stay up to date with events and highlights through our weekly newsletter and our key dates on this website.
Volunteering
Volunteering is a wonderful way to get involved in college life and learn and apply new skills amongst a supportive environment.
We welcome the assistance from our volunteers and understand how much of a positive impact is made through the generosity of others time and effort. At our college, we ask all parents who wish to volunteer, obtain and link their Working with children’s check to our college, and read and sign the appropriate child safe policies and volunteer agreement. If you would like to enjoy the rewards of volunteering with us, please contact the office today.

Playgroup
A Time to Play at River City Christian College
Playgroup is great fun for children of all ages up to beginning their Primary School. At our college, we provide a weekly session for children aged 0-5 years to be part of the fun and learning experiences. Children have the opportunity to socialise with others outside of their normal environment and participate in group activities and play time, along with allowing parents and carers an inviting space for friendly conversation and building community connections.
Join us each Wednesday at 10 am till 11:30 am each week. $3 weekly fee (or you can pay the term at once if that is easier). We look forward to sharing the time with you and your children and to enjoy the famous morning tea! You can request to join our Facebook group from our college page here.
Bus Transport
Our own and Government buses serve the school site, currently bringing students from Echuca, Moama, Kyabram and surrounding areas. We also have a network of buses outside of the college which run from local areas such as Rochester, Lockington, Nathalia, Torrumbury, Deniliquin and other areas. Please enquire at reception for more information.
