River City Christian College aims to nurture young people toward being lifelong learners who are active contributors in their community, acting with wisdom, integrity and compassion. We want them to be creative and reflective thinkers who are conscious and confident of who they are in their relationship with our creator God. We want them to gain experience in leadership and to explore all their potential gifts and talents as they become equipped to serve the local community, our nation and the world.
Delivering the Victorian Curriculum from a Christian perspective, our faithful team of well qualified teachers and support staff seek to encourage each student in achieving their best academically, socially, physically, and in their own following of Christ. We have been blessed with a wonderfully equipped physical school site, which we continue to develop as we also seek to develop the positive atmosphere of welcome, care and respect that we experience in this place.
We are a Christian school endeavouring to imbed Christian faith and values in all that we are. We are committed to partnering with and supporting families as we share the responsibility of encouraging their children to be all that God created them to be. River City Christian College is registered through the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority, we are a member of Christian Schools Australia and a member of Independent Schools Victoria.
Our own and Government buses serve the school site, currently bringing students from Echuca, Moama, Kyabram and surrounding areas.
Our Playgroup (A Time to Play) is on Wednesday mornings during the school term from 9.30am to 11.30am for children up to 5 years of age who are accompanied by their parents or carers. Children enjoy a wide array of toys, crafts and activities to learn through and it’s also a pleasant environment for parents and carers to connect with one another.
I invite you to visit or contact us to further explore how we may be able to support the nurture and education of the young people you care for. For more information or to make an appointment, please call 03 5482 4594 or email [email protected]
In our endeavour to faithfully care for both the young and old in our school community, we continue to develop a range of Policies. These aim to guide the way we function with wisdom, integrity and compassion, keeping people, information and property safe. They include matters such as child safety, student behaviour management, first aid and the resolution of grievances where they may arise. If you would like a copy of our policy in an area of your interest, please email or call as we are keen to assist.
